Terms & conditions

The agreement between you and Veronica Castro, who operates Marivoya.

Last updated: 7 August 2026

Who you are contracting with

Marivoya is a travel itinerary planning service operated by Veronica Castro ("Marivoya", "we", "us"). These terms and conditions form a binding agreement between you and Veronica Castro. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Marivoya on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business; if you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

The service

Marivoya lets you plan trips: build day-by-day itineraries, invite travelers, track reservations, budgets, packing lists, documents, and — on business plans — manage clients, quotes, and invoices. Features available to you depend on the plan you select.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Marivoya for any unlawful purpose, or to facilitate fraud, spam, or deceptive activity.
  • Do not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, and do not upload content you have no right to share.
  • Do not interfere with the security or integrity of the service — no malware, probing, penetration testing, scraping, or circumventing technical or plan limits.
  • Do not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.

Your content

You keep ownership of the itineraries, notes, documents, and files you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you and the travelers you invite. You are responsible for the accuracy of travel details and for verifying bookings directly with your providers.

Our intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Marivoya service, software, templates, documentation, branding, and design. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected, for the duration of your subscription.

Payment terms and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates and remits. Upgrades take effect immediately on a pro-rated basis; downgrades take effect at your next renewal. You can cancel at any time from Settings or through Paddle's customer portal and keep access until the end of the paid period. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

Free trial

New accounts may create one free trip to try the service. The free trial is limited to one per customer, and we may use reasonable technical measures to detect and prevent repeated claims of the trial by the same person.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where practicable, if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate the acceptable use rules above. You may close your account at any time. On termination your licence ends; you will have a reasonable window to export your trip content before it is deleted or anonymised in line with our privacy notice.

Availability and warranties

We work hard to keep Marivoya running, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Travel details, prices, and availability remain your responsibility to verify with the relevant provider.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, missed travel, or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where that exclusion is not permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful or unauthorised use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

General

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
